Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a report from Security Service (SBU) chief Vasyl Malyuk and approved "certain asymmetric responses" to Russia's war, according to the President's evening address.

"Today, there was a good report from Vasyl Malyuk, head of the Security Service of Ukraine. Regarding our operations - I approved certain plans for the Service, our asymmetric responses to Russia's war," Zelenskyy said.

He also mentioned the achievements of the SBU's Special Operations Center A.

"They are fighting on the front line alongside other units of the Defense Forces, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction and other areas of the front," the President added.

SBU strikes on Russian territory

On October 3, long-range drones operated by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) hit one of Russia's leading oil refineries, Orsknefteorgsintez, located 1,400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

SBU drones also struck and disabled the Tingovatovo oil pumping station in Russia's Chuvash Republic.

In total, coordinated operations by the SBU, Special Operations Forces, Defense Intelligence (HUR), and the State Border Guard Service have taken out around 20% of Russia's oil refining capacity, triggering a fuel crisis and disrupting logistics.
