Ukraine has successfully tested its new domestically produced missile, Ruta. The production of other missiles also continues, stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the presentation of the National Prize of Ukraine named after Borys Paton.

The President emphasized that Ukrainian missiles and drones, which seemed like something fantastic until recently, are now a reality.

"The Palianytsia missile has gone into serial production. The Peklo missile drone has successfully completed its first combat applications. Recently, we delivered the first batch to our Defense Forces. Successful tests of the new Ruta missile are underway. The long-range Neptune will soon become a terrifying reality for the occupiers," Zelenskyy said.

He noted that a similar situation exists with drones. Ukraine is producing reconnaissance drones Hor, night bombers Vampir and Heavy Shot, FPV drones Kolibri and Kamik, FPV aircraft Darts, and long-range drones Liutyi and Fire Point-1.

"All of this is Ukrainian-made. All of this is already actively used. Both on the front lines and in the enemy's rear as well. This is what gives Ukraine strength. This is what gives us, Ukrainians, protection. This is what will bring us, I am sure, a just peace," the President emphasized.

Missile production in Ukraine

It was revealed earlier this year that Ukraine had begun producing a range of new missiles and drones.

In particular, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently spoke about the delivery of the first batch of new Peklo missile drones to Ukrainian defenders.

These missiles can destroy targets at a range of up to 700 kilometers and reach speeds of up to 700 kilometers per hour.
