Zelenskyy announces security agreement with another country
Ukraine will soon sign another security agreement. Also, the leaders of several countries are preparing visits to Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, the relations between Ukraine and its partners are currently an important issue. A number of agreements are being prepared, which will be announced in August.
"These include security agreements - tomorrow we will start negotiations with another European country. We are also preparing visits of leaders to Ukraine and, accordingly, the content of our negotiations and the long-term philosophy of our agreements," Zelenskyy said.
The President noted that it is important to ensure long-term stability for Ukraine. This will guarantee greater opportunities for Ukraine now and this year, given the existing challenges and threats.
"Of course, the key task is to ensure the Defense Forces, the state budget, and the social stability of Ukraine," he emphasized.
Security agreements
Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has signed a number of bilateral security agreements. Signatories include the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Germany, Poland, and the European Union.
Specifically, on July 18, Ukraine signed security agreements with Czechia and Slovenia. The signing took place in Woodstock, UK.
Recently, Zelenskyy announced four additional new security agreements with partner countries.
