Ukrainian troops have a good result at the front, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. But he did not specify the direction.

"Today we had reports from our military – very important reports. There is a good result on the frontlines – it's inappropriate to specify the geography, I won't make it political," Zelenskyy said.

At the same time, the President thanked the Ukrainian soldiers from the 425th Separate Assault Regiment.

"Your strength truly matters. Well done!" the head of state added.

Situation at the front

According to the General Staff, as of February 13, 4:00 p.m., Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 72 times. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Novopavlivka directions.

In recent months, the Russian army has been trying to break through the defense in the Pokrovsk direction. This area is one of the most difficult directions of the frontline.

Recently, Viktor Trehubov, spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops, said that the Russian forces had changed their tactics of attacking Pokrovsk. Now, instead of the frontal assaults, they are trying to encircle the town.

At the same time, Trehubov clarified that about half of all combat clashes take place in the Pokrovsk direction.

As the National Guard recently reported, the Russian forces have advanced to the southern flank of Pokrovsk. There, the enemy is attacking the positions of the Defense Forces.

However, the pace of the Russian advance in the Pokrovsk direction has recently slowed down. One of the reasons is the effective defense activities of Ukrainian troops in this area of the front.
