Zelenskyy announces meeting with leaders of Coalition of Willing and names date

This week, a meeting of the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing will take place in Ukraine, who are considering the possibility of sending a contingent to Ukrainian territory, states the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to a press release from the Office of the President of Ukraine.
The head of the Ukrainian state spoke at the summit of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) countries, which include the UK, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Ukraine.
"We’re also getting ready in Ukraine for a meeting with the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing – serious work ahead," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, Ukraine needs such a coalition, and it must be strong enough to guarantee security.
The president expressed confidence that Europe will only benefit from this initiative, as it will help strengthen the security architecture.
"Tomorrow – the meetings," he briefly added.
Coalition of the Willing
The Coalition of the Willing is led by the United Kingdom and France.
According to British Defence Secretary John Healey, the goal of this coalition is to ensure a safe sky, secure seas, and safety on land for Ukraine, as well as to support Ukrainian defenders.
However, The Times recently reported that European countries have so far been unable to gather even 25,000 troops for potential deployment to Ukraine.
