Zelenskyy and Trump already in talks - White House

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump are currently holding a phone conversation, according to US President's aide Dan Scavino on Twitter (X).
"President Trump is in the Oval Office on a call with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine," Scavino wrote.
He did not specify when exactly the conversation began. Earlier, the media reported that the talks were scheduled to start at 4:00 PM Kyiv time.
The information that the talks are already underway was also confirmed to journalists by Ukrainian President's spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov.
Zelenskyy-Trump talks
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced his talks with US President Donald Trump earlier this morning. The two leaders are expected to discuss Trump’s recent phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Yesterday, Putin and Trump discussed resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine. The Kremlin leader effectively rejected Washington’s proposal for a full ceasefire, instead putting forward unrealistic conditions.
At the same time, Putin allegedly agreed to halt attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
This marks the first conversation between Zelenskyy and Trump since their heated exchange at the White House, during which both leaders lost their composure, leading to the early termination of the talks.
Notably, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, outlined the discussion topics in a comment to RBC-Ukraine’s YouTube channel.
