The number of victims from Russia's attack on Zaporizhzhia continues to rise. As of now, 31 people have been injured, and more continue to seek medical attention, Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reports.

"Already 31 wounded, including two children: victims of yesterday's attack on the regional center continue to arrive at hospitals in Zaporizhzhia," Fedorov said.

Furthermore, according to the Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the number of hospitalized individuals has increased - seven people are currently being treated in medical facilities.

Zaporizhzhia under drone attack

On the evening of May 1, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on Zaporizhzhia.

At least ten explosions were heard across the city, and reports of casualties followed immediately.

Reports later confirmed that residential areas were hit - an apartment building was damaged. By morning, the number of injured had risen to 28 people.

In addition, Russia also struck the Ukrainian Railways plant in Zaporizhzhia. Firefighters battled the blaze at the facility until morning.
