Russia strikes Ukrainian Railways plant in Zaporizhzhia: Consequences revealed

Russia massively attacked a locomotive repair plant in Zaporizhzhia. The fire at the enterprise was extinguished by morning, Ukrainian Railways reports.
“At night, our Zaporizhzhia Electric Locomotive Repair Plant came under a massive Russian attack,” the statement said.
According to the company, it is a purely civilian enterprise specializing in the repair of passenger electric locomotives.

"Only in the morning, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine extinguished the fire, and now explosive experts are working. The staff on duty was in a shelter, so the most important thing is that there are no injured or killed at the plant," Ukrainian Railways added.
Not the Russian first attack on a railroad plant in Ukraine
Ukrainian Railways noted that after the attack on the Darnytsia railroad plant in Kyiv, this is another example of how Russia is targeting exclusively civilian railroad enterprises in an attempt to disrupt traffic in the country.
Russia's attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the evening of Thursday, May 1, the Russian army launched a massive drone strike on the city of Zaporizhzhia. Casualties were immediately reported. Over 10 explosions were reported in the city.
Later, it turned out that the residential sector was under Russian attack, and the number of victims increased to 8 people. Russia attacked a house in Zaporizhzhia.
At about 6 a.m., the number of wounded in the Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia increased to 28 people.
