Yemen's Houthis release video of seizing ship in the Red Sea
Yemen’s Houthi militia has published a video of the seizure of the Galaxy Leader with an international civilian crew in the Red Sea.
According to the spokesperson for the Iran-backed Houthis, Yahya Sarea, their goal is to target all ships that have any connection to Israel.
On Monday, November 20, the Houthis released a video of the seizure of the Galaxy Leader. The video shows armed militants boarding the ship from a helicopter.
"Scenes of a quality military operation by the Yemeni naval forces on the Israeli ship, gaining control of it, and delivering it to the Yemeni coast on November 19, 2023," the caption to the video stated.

Seizure of the Galaxy Leader
On Sunday, November 19, Houthi rebels in Yemen seized the cargo ship Galaxy Leader with an international civilian crew in the Red Sea. The ship was flying the flag of the Bahamas.
The ship had 25 crew members from Ukraine, Bulgaria, the Philippines, and Mexico, but there were no Israelis on board.
Reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
As reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Nikolenko, on his Facebook page, the Ukrainian embassies concerned have been instructed to verify the presence of Ukrainians on the seized ship.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has already instructed the Ukrainian embassies to check this information, as well as to contact the owner company to find out the exact composition of the crew of the vessel and other details," he wrote.
Conflict in Israel
