Along with new products aimed at the global market, Xiaomi has introduced its own HyperOS operating system. Initially, it became available for Chinese phones, but other devices will receive it shortly, writes Gizmochina.

The manufacturer has published a list of devices that will receive an update to HyperOS in the first half of 2024. The list turned out not to be as large as one might expect, but it will probably be expanded in the future.

In the first half of the year, Xiaomi plans to release a global version of HyperOS for five series of its smartphones, as well as for certain models of Redmi Note 12 smartphones and tablets Xiaomi Pad 6 and Redmi Pad SE.

As you can see, in the specified list there are devices on which HyperOS will be installed first. Specifically, we are talking about the Xiaomi 14 series smartphones, the Watch S3 smartwatch, the Smart Band 8 Pro fitness bracelet, and the Pad 6S Pro tablet.

In other words, when purchasing these gadgets, the owner will simultaneously get access to the manufacturer's new proprietary shell.

Xiaomi did not provide specific release dates for the global version of HyperOS. Timing will probably depend on the region of sale of specific devices. In some cases, the update may be available in the coming days, in others - in the coming months.

However, in any case, the company promises to release updates for these devices during the first half of the year.

By the way, the company has recently released a Xiaomi 7 BE 3600 Wi-Fi router, which is equipped with four ports and is reported to be pretty affordable.
