'Work on America first, gramps!': Kremlin's Medvedev slams Graham over Putin warning

A public spat broke out on social media between US Senator Lindsey Graham and Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, sparked by a new ceasefire deadline.
Medvedev's statement
Medvedev called the new ultimatum issued by former US President Donald Trump to Russian president Vladimir Putin a "step towards war" between the US and Russia.
"Trump's playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10… He should remember 2 things: 1. Russia isn't Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war. Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country. Don't go down the Sleepy Joe road!" wrote Medvedev.
Lindsey Graham's response
The American senator warned the Kremlin that it would soon regret refusing to negotiate.
"To those in Russia who believe that President Trump is not serious about ending the bloodbath between Russia and Ukraine: You and your customers will soon be sadly mistaken. You will also soon see that Joe Biden is no longer president. Get to the peace table," Graham replied.
Medvedev fires back with insults
As usual, Medvedev responded in a mocking and offensive tone.
"It's not for you or Trump to dictate when to 'get at the peace table'. Negotiations will end when all the objectives of our military operation have been achieved. Work on America first, gramps!" he wrote.
Trump's new deadline
Yesterday, Donald Trump announced that he had changed the terms of his ultimatum regarding secondary tariffs for Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin no longer has 50 days to reach peace with Ukraine.
Later, the US president clarified that Putin now has only 10–12 days left.
It’s worth noting that Trump had previously promised to impose 100% secondary tariffs on Russia - a direct threat not only to Moscow but also to its trading partners.
Trump also mentioned that he was considering not just secondary tariffs, but secondary sanctions against Russia.
