In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, today, April 21, a woman sustained severe injuries from a Russian mine. Two more residents of the district were injured as a result of enemy shelling, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"The accident occurred in Nikopol. A 62-year-old woman stepped on an enemy mine. The victim was hospitalized. Unfortunately, her condition is serious. Doctors are providing her with all necessary medical assistance," said Lysak.

According to him, the Russian army attacked the Nikopol district with drones and artillery throughout the day. Several settlements in the region were targeted. As a result, two people were injured.

"A 66-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were injured. Both will receive outpatient treatment," said the head of the military administration.

In addition, infrastructure, a farm, 7 private houses, 2 outbuildings, a children's playground, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged.

"I appeal to the residents of the frontline areas. Be cautious. Stay away from suspicious objects. If you see one, immediately call the police or rescuers," Lysak warned the residents of the region.

Rocket attack on Dnipro

On April 18, Russian forces launched a rocket strike on Dnipro.

As a result of the missile attack, civilian objects in Dnipro were damaged, including a hotel building and a fitness center. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

At the same time, the Nikopol region was once again hit by the Russian army. The enemy used kamikaze drones for the attacks, as well as firing from multiple rocket launch systems.

As a result of the strike, a high-rise building, a private home, a car, as well as power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged.
