Will Zelenskyy attend Alaska meeting with Putin? Trump responds

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not be present at the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, US President Donald Trump said during a press conference.
Answering a question on whether Zelenskyy would participate in the meeting in Alaska, Trump said that the Ukrainian president was not part of this.
"I would say he could go, but he has been at many meetings, he has been at them for three and a half years, and nothing happened," Trump said.
Trump and Putin meeting

The Kremlin confirmed this information. In particular, Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said that the US and Russia are "close neighbors," so it was decided to hold the meeting between the two leaders in Alaska.
According to NBC, the White House is considering the option of inviting President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
