Negotiation process on ending the war
On March 11, a meeting took place in Saudi Arabia between US and Ukrainian delegations, attended by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. The United States was represented by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
During the first meeting, the US proposed introducing a full ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
Last weekend, the US held another round of negotiations with Ukraine, and on Monday, March 24, a meeting took place between the Russian and American delegations.
Following these meetings, Ukraine and the US published joint statements outlining the agreements reached in Saudi Arabia.

Russia also released a final statement following the meeting with American officials in Saudi Arabia. However, their statement included several conditions for a ceasefire with Ukraine at sea.
Later, Russia accused Ukraine of violating the ceasefire, claiming that energy facilities in two regions were attacked. However, the General Staff denied the Russian claims, stating that these were false and baseless accusations aimed at prolonging the war.
Today, it was reported that the central part of Kherson was shelled. As a result of the attack, part of the city was left without electricity. According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, he is waiting for a response from the US, as Russia attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
