The Defense Forces of Ukraine did not strike Russian energy infrastructure in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, nor did they target energy facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, statements by the Russian Ministry of Defense alleging that Ukraine violated the ceasefire conditions regarding energy facilities are false.

"On March 25-26, the Defense Forces of Ukraine did not strike energy facilities in the Kursk and Bryansk regions of the Russian Federation using UAVs, nor did they strike energy facilities in the territory of Crimea, which is temporarily occupied by Russian forces," the statement said.

The General Staff noted that the Russian military agency is spreading false and baseless accusations in an attempt to prolong the war, continue deceptive propaganda, and execute typical Russian efforts to mislead the world.

Negotiation process on ending the war

The United States has launched a series of negotiations with Ukraine and Russia regarding a ceasefire and has proposed implementing a 30-day cessation of hostilities between Kyiv and Moscow.

Ukraine immediately agreed to this proposal, while the Kremlin did not provide a direct response. At the same time, Russia presented a number of additional conditions, including the halt of mobilization and the cessation of Western arms supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Last weekend, another round of US negotiations with delegations from Ukraine and Russia regarding the end of the war took place in Riyadh.

Ukraine and the United States have already published joint statements outlining what was agreed upon in Saudi Arabia.

Details on this can be found in RBC-Ukraine's full report.

On Monday, the United States held negotiations with the Russian delegation, which lasted about 12 hours.

Russia has also released a final statement following its meeting with US officials in Saudi Arabia. This statement outlines the conditions for a maritime ceasefire with Ukraine.
