The next meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (the Ramstein meeting) will take place on Tuesday, December 16, according to a source among the organizers of the Ramstein meeting.

The source said this will be the 32nd Ramstein meeting, which will be held online.

According to the source, new aid packages for Ukraine are expected, along with coordination of plans for 2026.

About the Ramstein meeting

Ukraine Defense Contact Group is an international contact group, established in April 2022 as a platform to coordinate military assistance to Ukraine in repelling Russian aggression.

It brings together more than 50 countries, including NATO and EU members, as well as allies from other regions, who regularly meet to discuss Ukraine's current needs, analyze the frontline situation, and coordinate the delivery of weapons, equipment, and other critical resources.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, as of September this year, allies have provided Ukraine with over $145 billion in assistance, enabling the Armed Forces to receive modern air defense systems, F-16 fighter jets, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery shells, and other essential resources to counter the Russian invasion.

In 2025, the group continues to function actively, with meetings chaired by the United Kingdom and Germany instead of the United States, as during Joe Biden’s administration.

On November 14, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal said a new Ramstein meeting had been scheduled for December 3. The reason for its postponement is still unknown.
