'We in NATO, Putin in prison' - Zelenskyy set conditions for negotiations without Ukraine

US President Donald Trump can not negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine without Ukraine at the table unless several conditions are met, stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with NBC News.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine should be at the negotiating table. However, Trump's independent approach is also possible, provided that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin leaves all Ukrainian lands, goes to prison, and Ukraine, in turn, joins NATO.
"I am not only counting on it (a seat at the negotiating table - ed.), I am sure that we must be there, otherwise it will be unacceptable. But if a decision is made without us, and Putin leaves all of our land, we will be in NATO, and Putin will be in prison, then President Trump can do it without us," the president said.
In the same interview, Volodymyr Zelenskyy already touched on NATO. He said that Ukraine will never recognize the occupied territories as Russian, but is ready to discuss giving up the lands seized by Russia as part of a diplomatic agreement that could help Ukraine join NATO.
