Ukrainian forces strike MiG jet plant and missile production facility

On the night of July 11, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Lukhovitsy Aviation Plant named after Voronin, which manufactures MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighter jets, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the General Staff reported, the facility carries out the full range of work for the Russian army, from machining parts to final assembly, flight testing, and delivery of Russian MiG combat aircraft. Explosions and a fire were reported at the plant.

Injuries climb in Odesa: New photos expose Russian drone damage

The number of people injured as a result of the strike carried out by Russian troops on Odesa during the day on July 11 has increased to eleven. Rescuers have shown photos from the impact site, according to the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine.

"Russia attacked Odesa with strike drones. A fire broke out at a car service station, a residential building, and a stable were damaged. One animal died," the statement reads.

US approves $500 million in aid for Ukraine in 2026

The US Senate Armed Services Committee has approved $500 million in security assistance for Ukraine as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the 2026 fiscal year.

The bill also restricts the retirement of A-10 military aircraft.

The NDAA sets the funding and authorities for the US Armed Forces each year to ensure their combat readiness. The version approved by the committee on July 9 provides for continued assistance to Ukraine until 2028, with funding increasing from $300 million to $500 million.

US Envoy Keith Kellogg arrives in Kyiv for weeklong visit

On Monday, July 14, the special envoy of the United States of America for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg stated that he will arrive in Kyiv. His visit will last the whole week, according to Novyny Live.

"We will be in Kyiv on Monday. We’ll be there the whole week," Kellogg said during a conversation with a Novyny Live journalist.

Ghana ready to fund Ukrainian drone production in new partnership

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Ukraine's intention to strengthen cooperation with Ghana in the agricultural and defense sectors, writing about it in a public statement.

"We discussed areas where we can already deepen our partnership, first and foremost in the agro-industrial sector and the creation of a food logistics hub in Ghana," the president said.

The two sides agreed to organize a ministerial-level meeting, and a Ukrainian delegation is expected to visit Ghana in the near future.

Russian forces launched kamikaze drone strikes across Ukraine overnight on July 11. Among the targets was a maternity hospital in Kharkiv. Russia aims at life itself, even where it just begins, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Russian strikes on our people. Yet another atrocity. In Kharkiv, nine people were injured as a result of a drone attack. Among the wounded are women in a maternity hospital – mothers with newborns, women recovering from surgery. Fortunately, no children were injured. Russia is targeting life itself – even in the very places where it begins," Zelenskyy said.
