On the morning of July 11, Odesa was hit by a Russian air attack using strike drones. Eight people have been reported injured so far, informs the Odesa City Council.

"As a result of the daytime attack on July 11, civilian infrastructure, residential and administrative buildings, a stable, and vehicles were damaged," the authorities said.

According to preliminary information, eight people were wounded. They are currently receiving necessary medical care.

Russia launched another drone attack on Ukraine early that morning. An explosion was recorded in Odesa during the attack.

Earlier, the Air Force of Ukraine reported Russian activity in the Black Sea area. A group of strike drones was moving toward Odesa. Later, it became known that air defense was active over the city.

According to RBC-Ukraine sources, Russian militants struck the building of the territorial center of recruitment and social support in Odesa with drones. The extent of the damage and information about possible casualties are still being clarified.

Explosions were also reported in Mykolaiv. A fire broke out in the city after a Shahed drone attack.
