US working to arrange Zelenskyy-Putin meeting and trilateral summit, says VP Vance

US Vice President J.D. Vance said the US is working to arrange a meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin. Officials are also planning a trilateral summit, reports the Clash Report.
According to Vance, the US is working to organize a meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin where both can agree on peace.
"We are at a point where we’re trying to figure out scheduling and things like that around when these three leaders (Trump, Zelenskyy, Putin -ed.) could sit down and discuss an end to this conflict," he said.
Trump and Putin's peace talks on Ukraine
US President Donald Trump announced a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15. Earlier, Trump did not rule out a territorial swap between the two countries.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Putin may present Trump with an ultimatum: recognize the occupied Ukrainian territories as Russian in exchange for withdrawing troops from other regions and oblasts. Afterward, EU leaders and Ukraine issued a counterproposal for peace talks between the US and Russian leaders.
The media also reported the possible participation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the negotiation process. Zelenskyy may travel to Alaska.
