On Sunday, November 23, the United States, Ukraine, and the European Union will hold talks on Trump's new peace plan, CNN and Sudostschweiz report.

According to CNN, Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and his team landed in Geneva, Switzerland, early Sunday morning. He will meet with senior officials to discuss next steps toward peace.

A source said that Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will join the talks tomorrow. The source emphasized that the goal is to finalize the language ahead of a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President Donald Trump.

Sudostschweiz also reported that negotiations on Trump's peace plan will take place in Geneva tomorrow. Reuters reported that the meeting will include national security advisers from France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, along with representatives from the US and Ukraine.

From the Ukrainian side, the delegation will include Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak and Rustem Umerov. From the American side, Driscoll, Witkoff, and Rubio will participate.

CNN sources added that a meeting between Russian and American delegations to discuss the proposed plan is also scheduled. A US official said it will "proceed quickly" but not in Geneva. The official declined to provide the location and date.

US peace plan

It was recently revealed that the US developed a new peace plan to end the war in Ukraine, comprising 28 points. Media reports indicate that under the plan, Ukraine would need to withdraw from Donbas, reduce the size of its armed forces, give up long-range weapons, and implement additional measures. In return, Axios reported, the country would receive security guarantees comparable to NATO commitments.

Trump publicly confirmed that the deadline for approving the agreement is November 27. He told reporters yesterday that Zelenskyy must accept it, or Ukraine will have to continue fighting.

Bloomberg reported that Zelenskyy and European leaders are reviewing the document to ensure its provisions are fair for Kyiv. The European Union has officially responded, noting that the US plan could serve as a foundation but requires significant revisions.

Today, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov announced that Ukrainian and US officials will hold consultations in Switzerland in the coming days regarding the future agreement with Russia. Umerov also disclosed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation.

In his video address today, Zelenskyy emphasized that the Ukrainian delegation is prepared to defend the country's interests.
