The peace plan should no longer include a radical and strict limit on the size of the Ukrainian army. During the discussion, the Ukrainian delegation and the military present provided explanations regarding the necessary size of the Armed Forces under different conditions — both in peacetime and wartime.

US President Donald Trump made his first statement after talks in Geneva on a peace plan to end the war in Ukraine.
"Is it really possible that big progress is being made in peace talks between Russia and Ukraine? Don’t believe it until you see it, but something good just may be happening," the US President wrote on social media.
