US to spend every cent of $61 billion aid for Ukraine – Blinken
The United States plans to fully use the $61 billion approved by Congress to support Ukraine by the end of President Joe Biden's term. The funds will be allocated for weapons supplies, stated US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a briefing.
Blinken stated that allies are increasing their support, noting that the United States has provided Ukraine with $102 billion in aid, while other partners have contributed $158 billion. He described this as the best example of burden-sharing he has seen in his 30-year career.
According to Blinken, the current US administration intends to further increase security assistance to Ukraine in the remaining time of its term. This support will focus on continuing to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, artillery, and armored vehicle capabilities.
"We are determined, and it’s fully my intent and the President’s intent, to spend every cent that we have available from the $61 billion that were authorized by Congress,” he said.

Recently, the US announced another military aid package for Ukraine, amounting to $725 million.
