US to continue supplying Ukraine with ATACMS missiles - Sullivan
The United States will continue to supply Ukraine with ATACMS tactical missiles, stated US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan during a briefing.
“We’ve already sent some (missiles), we will send more now that we have additional authority and money,” Jake Sullivan said.
At the same time, he refused to name a specific number of missiles that Washington plans to supply to Ukraine.
ATACMS in Ukraine
The United States has confirmed that long-range ATACMS missiles had arrived in Ukraine in March this year secretly. They were included in a $300 million military aid package to Ukraine announced on March 12.
These missiles were probably used in the attack on the airfield in occupied Dzhankoy. A Pentagon spokesman also said that Ukraine used ATACMS on the night of April 24. However, he did not provide details on this topic.
Also, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in one of his statements that an agreement had been reached with US President Joe Biden on the next delivery of ATACMS to Ukraine.
