US special envoy says Ukraine's operation Spiderweb could be catalyst for peace

Operation Spiderweb, recently carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), can be a driving force for peace in Ukraine, according to the United States Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg.
"In my military experience, and history has shown, bold leadership and audacious action can change the nature of the battlefield as seen by the Security Service of Ukraine, Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and Defense Minister of Ukraine this weekend. This event can be a forcing function for peace but both sides must remain committed to President Trump's mission - stop the killing and end the war," Kellogg said.
Operation Spiderweb
On June 1, a large-scale operation was conducted during which SBU drones attacked four Russian military airfields - Belaya, Dyagilevo, Olenya, and Ivanovo. According to the SBU, the strikes destroyed or damaged 41 aircraft from the Russian strategic aviation.
Commenting on the event, Kellogg said that Operation Spiderweb could contribute to the escalation of hostilities.
