US President Donald Trump’s team is considering the possibility of a prolonged military campaign against Iran. However, how events unfold will depend on Tehran’s next moves, according to Axios.

The White House is currently evaluating the possibility of a prolonged military campaign against Iran.

According to preliminary data, it could last up to 30 days. However, Donald Trump may still change his mind if Tehran alters its behavior.

Journalists emphasize that a final decision has not yet been made, and US authorities are actively discussing various scenarios for how events in the Middle East might unfold.

Barak Ravid says the US expects that a new wave of strikes against Iran will last about a month.

Last night, US forces again carried out attacks on Iranian territory. This time, about 100 targets were struck.

On July 8, US President Donald Trump announced that he was canceling the ceasefire with Iran.

Furthermore, he added that he was refusing to negotiate with Tehran after Iran attacked merchant ships on July 7.

Subsequently, the US leader told the media that following the latest US attacks, Iran had contacted Washington and offered to reach an agreement. However, Trump has not yet decided what course of action to take.

Meanwhile, journalists have learned that the US was preparing for a resumption of tit-for-tat attacks with Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
