US President Joe Biden will soon visit Germany. There, he plans to ensure that Ukraine has everything necessary for self-defense, ABC reports.
According to the news agency, Biden's visit to Germany will be urgent, as he seeks to ensure that Ukraine has everything necessary for self-defense.
According to an ABC source, the main focus of Biden's visit to Germany will be Ukraine. This will likely be Biden's last trip to Europe as president.
The official mentioned that Germany has been a "critical partner" in America's efforts to ensure Ukraine can withstand Russian aggression. The official noted that the US and Germany are rallying support from other allies for Ukraine's military efforts.
"It (Germany - ed.) has been the second largest provider of military aid to Ukraine after the United States, and has provided a number of high-end capabilities, including tanks and other artillery systems," the ABC source said.
Biden's visit to Germany
Last week, US President Joe Biden was supposed to visit Germany and participate in the Ramstein meeting. However, the trip was canceled due to Hurricane Milton, which affected parts of the US.
It was later confirmed that Biden will arrive in Germany at the end of this week, likely on October 18. However, the Ramstein meeting has been postponed, and Biden will attend it virtually.
Recently, the German government confirmed Biden's visit, with the American president expected to stay in Germany for just one day.
