US Department of Energy confirms it can 'easily' manage Ukraine’s nuclear power plants

The US Department of Energy confirmed that they could manage Ukraine's nuclear power plants. The US has relevant experience, Fox News reports, citing US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright.
"There’s no problem, we can do it," Wright said in response to a question about the potential US involvement in managing Ukrainian nuclear power plants to end the war.
The Energy Secretary also emphasized that the US "has immense technical expertise for managing these power plants."
According to Wright, the administration of US President Donald Trump has not yet discussed the possibility of transferring Ukraine's nuclear power plants to US ownership.
"I don’t think it requires a physical presence, but I'll leave foreign policy to President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio. I know they’re working tirelessly," Wright added.
Earlier, the White House stated that Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the operation of Ukraine's nuclear power plants during a conversation. According to the White House spokesperson, Trump said that the US could provide assistance in managing the plants.
Later, Zelenskyy confirmed that he discussed the operation of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), which is currently occupied by the Russians, with Trump. The Ukrainian President noted that they discussed the restoration of the ZNPP.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been under Russian occupation. The occupiers disregard the safety of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, and the station frequently comes close to a blackout. Furthermore, the reports emerged that the Russians have mined part of the ZNPP's territory.
