The United States continues to share intelligence with Ukraine to help its military defend itself. However, it has reduced the sharing of intelligence that Ukrainian forces could use to launch attacks on Russian forces, CNN reports.

According to US defense officials, the US does not want to be perceived as an active participant in helping Ukraine strike Russian territory. As a result, military aid deliveries were suspended earlier this week.

However, the US also does not plan to withhold information that could help Ukraine protect itself.

CNN sources also note that Elon Musk's Starlink satellite internet service, which Ukrainian forces rely on, continues to operate in Ukraine.

US halts intelligence sharing with Ukraine

It was recently revealed that the US has completely stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine, a fact confirmed by the CIA director. Previously, it was reported that Washington had only restricted the transfer of data for strikes on Russian territory but continued to share information about the positions of the Russian forces.

The Trump administration is applying pressure on Kyiv, trying to force Ukraine to engage in negotiations with Moscow, while imposing demands solely on the Ukrainian side.

At the same time, French Minister of Defense Sébastien Lecornu stated that France is ready to replace the US in providing intelligence to Ukraine.

Additionally, according to media reports, the UK will continue to supply Ukraine with intelligence even after the suspension of exchanges between Kyiv and Washington. However, their capabilities are more limited than those of the US.
