US company Bunge suspends operations at Oleina plant in Dnipro after Russian strike

The Oleina plant, located in central Dnipro, suspended operations following a Russian strike, according to the press service of the US company Bunge, which owns the plant.
The company confirmed that part of the Oleina plant was damaged in the attacks on Dnipro this morning, September 10.
"Fortunately, none of the employees were injured. The plant's operations have currently been suspended. We will continue to monitor the situation and assess its further developments," Bunge said.
Strike on the plant
Russia attacked the Oleina plant in Dnipro with drones during another strike on the city. The plant is owned by the international US corporation Bunge.
According to Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov, the facility is located in the center of the city and has already been targeted by Russia more than once.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that at least two people were killed in the strike and that the facility sustained serious damage. He called the attack part of Russia's systematic campaign against US businesses and economic interests.
Russian forces recently attacked the Coca-Cola plant in the Kyiv region.
As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted, the enemy's attack was a clear signal from Russia to the United States.
