US and Ukraine preparing response to Russia's strike on Kyiv's Okhmatdyt hospital
The United States is working with Ukraine in response to the strike by Russian military forces on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv on July 8, announces the White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, during the NATO summit.
According to him, during the attack on the hospital, the US witnessed the horrific reality of Russian brutality.
"We are working with the Ukrainians to deal with that attack and to respond with force and vigor," Sullivan said.
Missile strike on Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv
On Monday, July 8, Russian military forces launched a large-scale missile strike of various types across Ukraine.
In Kyiv, one of the missiles completely destroyed the toxicology building of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital and damaged four other buildings.

NATO Summit in Washington
At the NATO summit in Washington on July 11, the United States announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine, including Patriot air defense systems and ammunition.
