The United States and NATO should consider attacking directly on North Korean troops. In case they fight on the side of Russia in Ukraine, according to the chairman of the US House Intelligence Committee, Congressman Mike Turner.

According to him, the participation of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine should be a red line for the United States and NATO, because Russia should not open the season for unpunished attacks on Ukraine and invite foreign troops to do so.

He believes the United States and NATO allies should seriously discuss and consider the possibility of directly attacking North Korean troops if they were present in Ukraine and engaged in attacks against Ukraine.

According to Turner, North Korean troops do not belong in Europe, they should not attack a European country.

The senator believes it was in the interest of NATO and the United States, as a NATO member, to prevent North Korean communist troops from entering a European country and attacking it.

DPRK troops in Ukraine

North Korea has deployed over 10,000 troops to the borders of Ukraine. According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, there are about 8,000 North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region.

Among the North Korean military sent to Ukraine are three generals. According to Ukraine's representative to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, North Korean troops will begin participating in Russia's war against Ukraine in November.

This is not the first time Turner has spoken out about North Korean troops in Ukraine. Recently, Turner called on US President Joe Biden to recognize the use of North Korean troops against Ukraine as a red line for the US and NATO. In addition, Germany, for example, may impose sanctions on North Korea if it participates in a war against Ukraine.
