Ursula von der Leyen to join Zelenskyy and Trump in Europe-US talks

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will join a conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, US President Donald Trump, and European leaders on Saturday, December 27, according to Reuters.
Ahead of the Florida meeting, Trump and Zelenskyy are set to hold a phone call. According to a European Commission spokesperson, von der Leyen and other European leaders will also participate in the call.
Zelenskyy-Trump meeting
On Sunday, December 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with US President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
According to media reports, Zelenskyy plans to resolve key disagreements over the draft peace agreement during the meeting.
The Ukrainian president confirmed that he will address territorial issues with Trump, including the Donbas region and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. European leaders will participate in the meeting online.
Meanwhile, CNN reports that European officials privately expect a positive outcome from the US-Ukraine presidential talks this Sunday but are preparing for unpredictable scenarios.
