Unknown drones nearly disrupt American rapper Akon's concert in Russia's Sochi: Video

In Sochi, a drone attack delayed the start of a concert by American rapper Akon. An alarm was declared in the city, according to Utrenniy Yug.
A Russian news agency reported that the American rapper was scheduled to perform at the Iceberg Ice Palace. However, just before the concert, an evacuation was announced there due to a drone attack threat.
The audience was moved to the lobby, where they continued to wait for the concert to start.
After the evacuation, many Russians began returning their tickets en masse.
The air raid alert was lifted approximately half an hour later.
Earlier information appeared online that a few hours before the concert, the American rapper’s security hid him in the hotel room’s bathroom during an air raid alert.
Akon
Akon (real name Aliaune Thiam) is an American rapper and producer of Senegalese descent who rose to fame in the mid-2000s. He was born on April 16, 1973, in St. Louis, Missouri, into the family of a jazz musician.
Akon has often faced criticism due to contradictions in his autobiography, particularly regarding claims about his criminal past. In interviews and songs, he stated that he had spent several years in prison for car theft and other offenses.
However, investigative journalism has cast doubt on the truthfulness of these claims.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence released an intercepted conversation in which Russians complained that their air defense systems were shooting down drones even near kindergartens and schools.
