Unknown drones attack Arzamas Instrument-Building Plant in Russia, causing fire

Early in the morning on August 11, Russians again reported explosions, claiming that unknown drones had attacked the city of Arzamas in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region, according to Russian channels.
According to Mash, the attack began around 3:55 a.m. At that moment, three bangs and one powerful explosion were heard in the sky. Eyewitnesses reported seeing at least five drones flying very low.
SHOT reported between four and seven explosions in the city. Soon after, several other Telegram channels posted videos allegedly showing one of the strikes on the Arzamas Instrument-Building Plant (APZ).
Early in the morning, photos and videos showed a fire breaking out at the facility as a result of the attack. However, in later images, the fire was no longer visible.

The Arzamas Instrument-Building Plant is an enterprise producing equipment for the aviation and space industries, as well as products for civilian use.
Several channels specify that the plant develops and manufactures gyroscopic instruments, control systems, onboard computers, steering drives, test and calibration systems, flow meters, and medical equipment.
Strikes on Russia
On the night of August 10, the Saratov region came under attack by unknown drones. Russians reported explosions, followed by a fire in the regional center near an oil refinery.
The regional governor later confirmed damage to a facility but did not specify which one.
Yesterday, as part of a special operation by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR), the LUKOIL-Ukhta Oil Refinery in Russia’s Komi Republic, nearly 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine, was attacked.
