Ukrainian troops filmed a Russian soldier taking a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher, pressing it against his own shoulder, and firing it, resulting in an injury, according to the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade.

The military showed how a Russian serviceman injured himself due to his own carelessness.

"That’s what 'brilliance' of the Russians looks like: he took an RPG, pressed it against his own shoulder, and fired. He wanted to fight — ended up sending himself into the '300' category (a category of injured service men - ed.). Well, they’re destroying themselves. The most effective tactic of their army,” the brigade added.

Frontline situation

Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Since then, the occupiers have carried out daily massive attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages, using artillery, aviation, missiles, and drones.

These attacks have killed and injured civilians and destroyed civilian infrastructure, including homes, schools, and hospitals. Ukrainian defense forces continue to repel the aggression and inflict losses on the enemy along the entire front line.

Notably, just in the past 24 hours — on August 26 — Ukrainian forces recorded nearly 180 combat engagements.

This morning, August 27, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided a detailed report on the situation in each direction of the front and released maps of the combat operations.

According to the General Staff, Russian occupiers suffered nearly a thousand casualties over the past day.

At the same time, the military reported that during the night of August 27, the Ukrainian Air Force repelled a massive enemy attack.
