Over the past 24 hours, from August 25 to 26, Russian occupiers lost another 890 troops. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed nearly a hundred enemy drones and about the same number of vehicles, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to August 22, 2025, are approximately as follows:

  • Personnel - about 1,107,7830 (+890) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • Tanks - 11,134 (+4);
  • Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,178 (+3);
  • Artillery systems - 31,979 (+33);
  • MLRS - 1,472;
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 1,211;
  • Aircraft - 422;
  • Helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 53,442 (+95);
  • Cruise missiles - 3,598;
  • Warships/boats - 28;
  • Submarines - 1;
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks - 59,769 (+97);
  • Special equipment - 3,950 (+2).

As of the evening of August 25, 136 combat clashes were recorded on the frontline. In particular, Russian forces attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense in the Pokrovsk direction 43 times.

“The Defense Forces are holding back enemy assaults, and the adversary is suffering heavy losses - today in this sector, 142 occupiers were eliminated, of which 86 irreversibly. Our defenders destroyed 18 vehicles, seven unmanned aerial vehicles, two UAV control points, and three shelters for personnel. An enemy artillery system and an electronic warfare asset were also significantly damaged,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
