Ukrainian State Emergency Service shares aftermath of Russian drone strike on house in Kharkiv
Late in the evening of December 20, Russian forces struck a multi-story residential building in Kharkiv with a drone. Six people were injured, including one child, according to the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
"In the Saltivskyi district, an enemy drone struck a 9-story residential building. Six people were injured, including a 12-year-old child. SES rescuers saved three individuals," the statement reads.
The SES also clarified that the attack damaged the building's facade and apartments on the lower floors. A fire broke out as a result, which was extinguished by 11:04 p.m. Kyiv time.

Russian attacks on Kharkiv
This attack occurred around 9:55 p.m. Kyiv time on December 20. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the strike hit between the first and second floors of the apartment building.
Additionally, nearly two hours later, a second explosion was heard in Kharkiv. Around 11:41 p.m. Kyiv time, an impact was recorded in the Kyivskyi district, specifically hitting a private house where a fire broke out. People were inside but were rescued. Currently, there are reports of two injured individuals.
