Russian army struck a high-rise building in Kharkiv with a Shahed drone. Damages were reported, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, on Telegram.

According to Syniehubov, the enemy drone hit a high-rise building in the Saltivskyi district. The first two floors were partially destroyed. All emergency services are working to mitigate the consequences.

"As of now, there have been two calls related to acute stress reactions," Syniehubov specified.

He added that medical personnel assisted the victims on the spot.

Terekhov reported that four people have been confirmed injured, including a 12-year-old girl.

Syniehubov clarified that three people are experiencing acute stress reactions. The girl has a minor shrapnel wound.

The head of the regional military administration reported that efforts to extinguish the fire on the first and second floors are ongoing. The fire covers an area of 30 square meters.

A survey of the building and inquiries regarding the relocation of people are also taking place.

Attacks on Kharkiv

Russian army frequently targets Kharkiv due to its proximity to the front line and the border with Russia.

In particular, on December 15, several explosions were heard in the city. The attack was recorded in the Kyivskyi district.

As a result of the attack, a 48-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized in a medical facility.
