Ukrainian Special Forces destroy Russian bridges and pontoons in Kursk region
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russian bridges, pontoons, and engineering equipment with HIMARS in the Kursk region.

In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Special Operations Forces destroyed a cluster of Russian equipment, a field ammunition and fuel and lubricants depot, an electronic warfare system, and a 152-mm D-20 cannon.
Fighting in Kursk region
Since August 6, Ukrainian troops have been conducting an offensive in the Kursk region of Russia. Ukraine took control of dozens of settlements, including the town of Sudzha. It is home to a station through which Russians supply gas to Europe in transit through Ukraine.
The first Ukrainian military commandant's office was established in the Kursk region, as well as a buffer zone.
In addition, the Ukrainian authorities have announced plans to open a humanitarian corridor in the Kursk region to evacuate civilians.
