Ukrainian defenders hunted down and struck the Russian Kasta radar station. The details and results of the Special Operations Forces' work were shared online.

“During aerial reconnaissance in one of the operational areas, the operators of the Special Operations Forces discovered the location of the Russian mobile radar station Kasta-2E2," the statement says.

According to the Special Operations Forces, this model of radar is considered an ultra-modern weapon designed to control airspace, determine coordinates, and recognize air targets, including those flying at ultra-low altitudes.

Kasta radar was first detected in the territory of Ukraine in 2021 in the occupied territory of the Luhansk region. According to the Special Operations Forces, the Russians brought in equipment to counterattack UAVs.

“Our operators struck the Russian radar with one of the latest developments that entered service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the Ukrainian defense officials say.
