Ukrainian communications systems manufacturer Himera Radios has announced the successful completion of its first government order for the Ministry of Defense of a European NATO member state, according to the company’s Facebook page.

It is noted that the country for which the order was fulfilled has decided to remain anonymous for now.

As part of the contract, the Ukrainian company conducted training sessions for local military and communications units.

Himera Radios stated that its communication systems were highly praised for their low detectability on radio frequencies, resistance to electronic warfare, ease of use, long battery life, and adaptability to modern combat conditions.

"This is an important step in strengthening international partnerships and developing secure battlefield communication systems. These results confirm HIMERA’s technological competitiveness and the trust of its partners," the company emphasized.

Ukrainian arms exports

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently stated that Ukraine is preparing agreements on controlled arms exports.

The head of state also stressed that the export of certain types of weapons in surplus could provide Ukraine with additional funds to produce systems currently in short supply.

In addition, according to him, besides Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, countries in Africa are also showing active interest in Ukrainian weapons.
