Ukrainian President arrives in Norway

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Norway on Thursday, March 20. He will hold a series of meetings, according to the Norwegian government.
Zelenskyy has already landed in Norway. The day before, he visited Finland.
“I am very pleased to have the opportunity to welcome Volodymyr Zelensky to Norway. Norway stands firm in its support to Ukraine. All the parties in the Storting have recently reached agreement on increasing funding to Ukraine. Norway supports Ukraine in its fight to defend itself and is contributing to the effort to achieve a lasting, just peace in the country. I look forward to constructive discussions on how Norway can best provide assistance to Ukraine in both the short term and the long term,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Zelenskyy and Støre will hold several meetings today. The working meeting will also be attended by Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg (former NATO Secretary General), Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, and Defense Minister Tore Sandvik.
For security reasons, no other details about the Ukrainian President's program in Norway have been disclosed.
Zelenskyy's visit to Finland
On March 18, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Finland on an official visit. There, he held a series of meetings with officials, including President Alexander Stubb and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
Zelenskyy also met with students and professors from the University of Helsinki and the University of Tampere and visited the largest shelter in Helsinki, which can accommodate 6,000 people, with Stubb.
The summit of EU leaders is taking place in Brussels today, March 20. Earlier, European Council President Antonio Costa announced Zelenskyy's speech at the summit.
On the eve of the European Council meeting, Zelenskyy and Costa had a phone conversation.
