New Russian drone packed with Chinese tech, Ukraine's intel says
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine disclosed details about the technical components and characteristics of a new drone Russia uses to detect Ukrainian air defense positions and overload them.
According to some data, it can also carry a warhead weighing up to 15 kg. The device has a delta-wing fuselage similar to the Shahed-136, but much smaller. All components and units on the UAV are of Chinese origin.
Ukraine and Denmark developing AI-powered drone interceptor, media says
Danish company Terma is working with Ukrainian company Odd Systems on an affordable air defense system designed to intercept enemy drones, according to Defence Express.
Terma specializes in ground and maritime radar systems, including those designed to detect drones, as well as advanced avionics. The company also supplies more than 80 critical components for the F-35, including fuselage parts, pylons, and radar electronics.
Ukrainian parliament slashes authority of top anti-сorruption agencies
The Verkhovna Rada has passed a law authorizing the Prosecutor General to interfere in the activities of anti-corruption bodies, according to Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak.
"The Parliament voted in favor of draft law No. 12414 and eliminated all independence of the NABU and the SAPO," he wrote.
According to him, 263 MPs supported the draft law.
Poland urges its citizens to leave Russia over military draft fears
The Polish government is advising its citizens to leave Russian territory, citing the risk of potential military mobilization, according to the press service of Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry recalled that Russia has closed Poland’s consulates in St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad. Against this backdrop, providing direct consular assistance to Polish citizens is becoming increasingly difficult.
Mirage-2000 fighter jet crashes: Air Force reveals first details
A Mirage-2000 fighter jet provided to Ukraine by France has crashed. The pilot managed to eject in time, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the evening of July 22, 2025, during a flight mission on a Mirage-2000 fighter jet, a technical malfunction occurred, which the pilot reported to the flight control officer," the Air Force said.
The pilot acted professionally and successfully ejected. A search and rescue team has located the pilot, who is in stable condition. No injuries were reported on the ground.
