About the Mirage-2000
The Mirage 2000 is a French fourth-generation multirole fighter jet developed by Dassault Aviation in the late 1970s.
It was designed as a successor to the older Mirage III and Mirage 5 models. The aircraft features a delta wing design, high maneuverability, and the capability to carry a wide range of weaponry - from air-to-air guided missiles to precision-guided bombs and air-to-surface missiles. The Mirage 2000 has been extensively used by the French Air Force and exported to more than eight countries.
Thanks to its ease of maintenance and adaptability to modern weapon systems, the Mirage 2000 remains in active service in several countries.
On February 6, it was announced that France had delivered the first Mirage-2000 jets to Ukraine as part of its military aid package.
