Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs comments on terrorist attack in Moscow region
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs vehemently rejects accusations, which have begun to be voiced by Russian officials, of Ukraine's alleged involvement in the shooting at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the city of Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region, according to the Ukrainian foreign policy department.
In the ministry, such accusations are considered a planned provocation by the Kremlin aimed at further fueling anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russian society, creating conditions for increasing the mobilization of Russian citizens to participate in criminal aggression against our state and discrediting Ukraine in the eyes of the international community.
"The Russian regime has a long history of bloody provocations by its special services, such as the terrorist attack on the Kashirskoye highway in 1999. There are no red lines for Putin's dictatorship. It is ready to kill its own citizens for political purposes, just as it has killed thousands of Ukrainian civilians during the war against Ukraine as a result of missile attacks, artillery shelling and torture," the statement said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to decisively reject the false Russian accusations of Ukraine's alleged involvement in the shooting in Krasnogorsk and to strengthen support for our state in resisting criminal Russian aggression.

"If it is established that these are terrorists of the Kyiv regime, there can be no other way but to deal with them and their ideological inspirers. They all must be found and ruthlessly destroyed as terrorists. Including officials of the state that committed such a crime," he wrote.
