The German Armed Forces will conduct training for approximately 10,000 Ukrainian military personnel by the end of the year, says German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius, according to Tagesshcau.

"We cannot have a single second of doubt that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin should not achieve his goal. Therefore, we must support Ukraine on all levels, including militarily, for as long as necessary," the German Minister of Defense stated.

During his address, he also mentioned that Germany will train a total of 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of the year, and the quality of training has received recognition from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Pistorius also reminded that Germany is the second-largest supplier of aid to Ukraine after the United States, and German weapons save lives in Ukraine every day.

"An attack on Ukraine is not only an assault on a sovereign, free state but also a fundamental attack on the global security order, international law, and the Western way of life," he added.

German's aid to Ukraine

Recently, Germany reported on providing Ukraine with a new package of military assistance. Among other items, this package included missiles for the Patriot air defense system.

Additionally, the German Finance Minister Christian Lindner proposed providing Ukraine with annual assistance of 5 billion euros.

Furthermore, on September 5, Germany announced the transfer of a new package of military aid to Ukraine. This package includes ammunition, vehicles, and trucks. The German government noted that these supplies come from industry reserves funded by German foundations for enhancing security capabilities.
