Ukrainian intelligence strike on Atlas oil depot in Russia: Satellite images of fire released
Ukrainian intelligence hit the Russian Atlas oil depot in Rostov region, near the town of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. Oil products for the Russian army were stored there, according to Radio Liberty.
The published photos show that two fuel tanks are on fire, and several others show signs of damage. The attack on the oil depot likely took place last night.
Ukraine has not officially confirmed the attack on the oil depot. However, RBC-Ukraine's sources in the special services stated that the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had hit the Russian Atlas oil depot in the Rostov region near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky.

The Atlas oil depot in Rostov region is part of the Russian military-industrial complex that supplies petroleum products to the Russian army. This facility plays an important role in Russian military logistics; in August 2020, the plant hosted joint exercises of the Russian Defense Ministry and the Russian Reserve as part of the Caucasus 2020 exercise.
On August 28, 2024, the oil depot was attacked by Ukrainian drones, causing a large-scale fire and serious damage to fuel tanks.
