Oil depot attacked by Ukrainian army burns for 8th day in Rostov region, Russia
An oil depot has been burning for eight days in the Rostov region. The fire started after an attack by the Ukrainian army, according to Radio Svoboda.
Satellite imagery shows that on the eighth day of the fire, there is still no visible improvement in the situation at the oil depot in Rostov region.

A photo taken this afternoon shows smoke spreading from at least 3 main fire centers.
On August 18, the oil depot in Proletarsk was attacked by Ukrainian Defense Ministry intelligence's drones. The attack took place with the participation of Ukrainian-made kamikaze drones.
After that, a fire broke out at the tank farm and fuel tanks exploded. Russian rescuers have been unable to do anything about the fire for six days, and some of them have been injured.
Russian media reported that the smoke caused by the fire was detected near Rostov. The distance between the cities is about 150 kilometers.
