Ukrainian intelligence conducts operation with explosive glasses for Russian troops

A series of explosions of goggles for FPV drones occurred among the Russian occupiers during their use. The operation was carried out by specialists of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and sources, according to the Ukrainian special services.
DIU operation details
Russian propagandists complain about dozens of similar incidents that occurred in many Russian regions in the first days of February.
According to the sources, a large batch of glasses was purchased for the operation, after which the DIU specialists additionally equipped them with a remote detonation function. After that, in coordination with Ukrainian intelligence, Russian volunteers sent the explosive glasses to Russian drone units.
“Over time, there will be much more such facts, because now Bandera hideouts where glasses with a surprise for the Russian occupiers are made are not only in the Ukrainian Carpathians but also in Russian Siberia,” the authors of the operation noted.
According to the special services, the horrors of war are taking place before the eyes of Russian FPV pilots. In particular, they add that the operation with explosive FPV glasses is ongoing.
Other DIU operations
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine have conducted a large number of operations to undermine Russia's military potential and beyond. For example:
- in February, cyber specialists of the DIU attacked the infrastructure of the main contractor of the Russian Gazprom, Gazstroyprom;
- at the end of January, as part of the Ukrainian intelligence operation, the Lukoil oil depot in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, was attacked;
